Do
you have PCOS and
want to have a baby? |

| The University of Pennsylvania
Reproductive Research Unit is seeking women 18-40 years
old with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) who want to
become pregnant for a research study comparing three
treatment options. |
|
To be
eligible, participants must have:
- Periods more than 45 days
apart, or fewer than 8 periods per year
- A body mass index (BMI) of
27-42
|
|
| Participation includes physical
exams, pelvic ultrasounds, DXA scans, exercise treadmill
tests, hormonal blood work, oral glucose tolerance tests
and recording of daily exercise and dietary information.
Study-related medications and a lifestyle intervention
are included in the study.
